About the owners

As native Floridians my husband and I were searching for a way to help all children in our community reach their full potential. I had been happily working for many years as a successful stylist for Aacardi. The Salon, but found that my passion for helping children started to lead me in a different direction. This desire stems from my own personal story. In 2007 my husband and I were blessed with the birth of our first child. Shortly after our beautiful daughter, Eden Elisabeth was born, she was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder.

We dedicated ourselves to helping Eden achieve things that we once did not think were possible. In 2011, along with the joy of the birth of our second child, came the realization that neuro typical children could benefit from a sensory diet as well. We set out on a quest to find a place where all children could simply play, dance, and have fun. So much of our search led us to places that were interested in grooming children to be future Olympians or professional dancers. Our dream was to find a place that allows children to dance and tumble for the sheer enjoyment and benefits, without the competition.

We longed for a place where all children, could paint and play without being judged by their peers. This search happily led us to We Rock The Spectrum. Opening the gym allowed us to provide a space for all parents to gather, while getting the support and information they needed. We truly believe that it takes a village to raise a well-rounded child. Through growing up in Pinellas County and through my work as a stylist in St.Petersberg I have had the opportunity to meet and help many wonderful families who have often used me as a resource and guiding hand in getting the best support for their children’s needs. I essentially became an advocate for the many children who are “stuck in the middle”. From watching my own children thrive, I knew that with the proper foundation, anything was possible. There is no greater joy for us then watching all children attain their dreams. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our gym.
